If you are planning a day out with a group of people, making sand sculptures is a fun and unique activity, which can be booked throughout the year.
The Sand Gallery inside the NH Atlantic Den Haag Hotel at Kijkduin is suitable for groups of 20 up to 80 people (opening January 2010). But larger groups and large scale corporate hospitality events up to 500 people can be accommodated upon request.
It is a great idea for a staff day out or for corporate hospitality functions. Companies can book a special programme which can take place year round at the Sand Gallery. Experienced sand sculptors will instruct your groups on how to create sand sculptures in a huge sand box, measuring no less than 100 m2 and filled with 150 tonnes of special sculpting sand. The hotel staff will take care of the catering, from buffet lunches to great barbecues. The hotel can also accommodate meetings in one of their well equipped meeting facilities, prior to the sand sculpting programme or afterwards.
Outside activities
When the weather gods are on your side, the sculpting activities can be moved outside, to the outdoor sand box in the dunes behind the hotel. This unique sand sculpting programme at the Kijkduin beach setting will guarantee you and your group an unforgettable and fun learning experience. The inspiring surroundings will challenge you and your colleagues or business relations to think and act creatively as a team in an exciting hands-on sand sculpting activity.
Zandacademie and the World Sand Sculpting Academy (WSSA) specialises in business activities of every conceivable description. We also arrange sand sculpting programmes in a corporate setting on various locations throughout Europe and beyond.
