Smartphone app for HagaZiekenhuis

HagaZiekenhuis has become the first hospital in the Netherlands to launch a special iPhone and Android application which helps patients prepare for their appointments in the hospital.

The application allows patients to keep track of the details of their appointments, make notes, get directions to the hospital, find their way in the hospital and look up information about the outpatients' clinic, including hospital locations and blood testing locations.

The HagaZiekenhuis has developed a special version of its website for mobile phones where people can look up information easily. The application is free of charge from the App Store and through AppBrain.
