Municipal Clerk’s Office

The Municipal Clerk (Griffier) supports the Mayor, the Council and the Presidium, while also giving advice to Council members.

The Municipal Clerk (Griffier) is the primary advisor to the Municipal Council (Gemeenteraad) in all areas. This role involves supporting the Mayor, the Council and the Presidium, while also giving advice to Council members.

The Municipal Clerk also ensures that everything goes smoothly between the Council and the Municipal Executive. Moreover, he or she is responsible for making the democratic process more accessible and transparent to citizens.
